Drink review – Goodrays have created four different sparkling CBD drinks. In this article I taste-tested their elderflower and yuzu drink which I found very tasty and refreshing although the CBD impact was minimal.
It’s been a while since I reviewed a non-alcoholic drink with ‘added benefits’ so when I saw Goodrays CBD drinks at Tesco’s I thought I would give it a try. Just to clarify, when I talk about ‘added benefits‘ I’m referring to those drinks that don’t include alcohol but do add ingredients that have an impact ranging from probiotics and in Goodrays’ case CBD.
If you don’t know what CBD is then read the last CBD drink I reviewed (Maria and Craig’s CBD spirit) but essentially CBD is an element of marijuana and does not contain THC (the psychoactive ingredient).
Goodrays, a drinks producer in the UK was founded in 2020 by Eoin Keenan who wanted to produce a selection of tasty drinks that enabled people to experience some of the benefits of CBD such as relief from stress, increase mental focus and improving sleep.
I bought a pack of four Goodrays cans with flavour combos such as raspberry and guava, blood orange and grapefruit and elderflower and yuzu which I tried earlier today. In addition to the drinks, there are several other ways to get your CBD fix from Goodrays including gummies and drops.
Some other highlights on Goodrays drinks are that they are both low in sugar and calories, use ethical sourced nauteal ingredients, have a daily dose of vitamin D and of course use 30MG of award-winning CBD.
So the questions are is this CBD drink tasty? and did I feel anything after drinking it? Well, you’ll just need my review below to find out.
Is Goodrays CBD any good?
Taste
The elderflower and yuzu drink I had was pretty tasty and not too sweet. To be honest I could pick out the yuzu flavour more than the elderflower and there was a slight background bitterness I presume from the hemp. Overall though Goodrays was a refreshing carbonated non-alcoholic CBD drink.
Other benefits
To be honest I didn’t feel much different after drinking it. I was in a pretty relaxed state anyhow so the bar was already high in making me feel even more chilled out. Perhaps next time I am stressed I’ll grab another Goodarays and see if that helps/
